CINEMATIC MENU

A slow looping camera forshadows later gameplay while bringing ambiance to the menu.

  • Menu prompts support multi-platform iconography including controller and keyboard support on PC.

CENTRALIZED COCKPIT HUD

Inspired by classic fighter planes.

  • All combat information is centralized to keep eyes on the action.
  • Detailed resource displays show information for health, armor, speed and multiple weapons systems.
  • Resources are animated with dynamic previews and transitions.
  • Supports multiple enemy resource displays and offscreen targeting.

SERVER CREATION AND MATCHMAKING

Pilot X supported peer to peer multiplayer online and over LAN, Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network.

  • Step-by-step tutorial mode.
  • Public and private matches.
  • Custom game lobbies with multiple game modes, maps and victory conditions.
  • Single player AI bot skirmish mode.

TRANSFORMING GUNSHIP

The player's ship shape-changes into 4 distinct modes. I modeled the AP Field and Multi-Missile modes.
